CHARITY GOLF DAYS

Super Sixes Charity Golf Day 21 August 2025 The Berkshire Golf Club

Two legendary sporting charities go head-to-head in one of the summer’s most anticipated golf events. The Super Sixes Charity Golf Day 21 August 2025 The Berkshire Golf Club will feature the Lord’s Taverners, captained by Mike Gatting, taking on the Golf Foundation team led by European Tour winner Oli Fisher. This unique charity clash is set in the breathtaking surroundings of The Berkshire Golf Club, one of the finest courses in the UK.

Inspired by the drama of the Ryder Cup, the format breaks the round into three six-hole challenges, offering a fresh, fast-paced take on competitive golf. Players will compete in pairs across each section, ensuring a day that’s both thrilling and highly sociable. Beyond the competition, the event brings together the spirit of camaraderie and a shared passion for supporting young people through the power of sport.

A day of rivalry, fundraising and fairways

The Super Sixes Charity Golf Day 21 August 2025 The Berkshire Golf Club will raise funds for both the Golf Foundation and the Lord’s Taverners. It’s a rare chance to see two brilliant organisations collaborate while showcasing talent, teamwork and generosity. Whether you’re playing, supporting or cheering on your team, the day promises unforgettable moments on and off the course.

Editor of GolfTimes.co.uk, I’m a communications and marketing professional with a background in global sports branding. I’ve worked alongside major clubs and helped launch sports brands from the ground up, blending strategic storytelling with commercial goals. I also make the odd appearance on news shows to discuss the intersection of sport, branding, and media. - When I’m not editing features or chasing down quotes, I’m usually on the course. I’ve been playing golf for over 10 years and currently play off a 14 handicap. My favourite course I’ve played is Bowood — a brilliant layout with plenty to think about. The toughest course I’ve faced? Bude. The weather was wild, the bounces unpredictable, and my swing decisions… debatable. Still, it’s the rounds like that which keep the game interesting. And humbling.
