The popular IC&G Charity Golf Day Brickhampton 24 July 2025 is back and promises another great day for a great cause. Now in its eighth year, the event will once again take place at Brickhampton Golf Club in Churchdown. This year’s chosen charity is the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity which provides life-saving care across the region. Organisers are aiming to sign up 100 golfers for a two tee start on the day. The event is open to CII members and non-members, including friends and family who fancy a round for charity. A basic level of golf experience is preferred to help things run smoothly for everyone involved.
The event includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, driving range practice balls and 18 holes on the Spa Course. After the round, players can relax and refuel with a luxury barbecue in great company. Entry is £59 per person or £38.50 for Brickhampton full members, with individual and team entries both welcome. There will be nearest the pin and longest drive prizes as well as mulligan and raffle ticket packages on the day. The aim is to make the competition fairer and more fun each year using real handicaps and player feedback. Individuals without a team will be paired up with others so no one misses out.
Raising funds for Great Western Air Ambulance
Raising funds through sponsorships and raffle prizes will be a key part of the day’s success. Organisers are encouraging everyone to contribute something, no matter how big or small. Golfers can view the Spa Course challenge online ahead of the event to get a feel for what lies ahead. Five buggies are available to reserve on a first come first serve basis by contacting the organiser.
Accommodation options nearby can be found online and the venue offers safe overnight parking. To register or ask questions, email simon.mcgill@ecclesiastical.com or call 0737 6673833.
